Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has issued an apology on behalf of Ghanaians to Stephen Appiah and his Black Stars colleagues.
Yvonne’s apology comes following the abysmal performance by the Black Stars in the friendly against Brazil on Friday, September 23.
According to Yvonne, Stephen Appiah’s squad, which included the likes of Michael Essien, Asamoah Gyan, Sulley Muntari, Richard Kingston and others were the best to ever do it.

“On behalf of Ghanaians, i’d like to apologize to Stephen Appiah and his colleagues for all the insults rained on them during their era. Its obvious y’all were/are the GREATEST. WE ARE SORRY,” she tweeted, Friday.

The 2006 Black Stars squad, led by head coach Ratomir Dujkovic made Ghanaians proud when they led Ghana to its debut at the World Cup.
