Prior to their match against Portugal, which is set to take place on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at the 974 stadium in Doha, the Black Stars (players and technical team) of Ghana have each been given TECNO CAMON 19 Pro phones from TECNO Ghana.
The company says the act is intended to inspire and push the Black Stars to win the ongoing FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 finals.
On Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the team base camp in Doha, Kurt Okraku, President of the Ghana Football Association, gave a presentation to every player and member of the technical staff.
In Group H, Ghana is also scheduled to play South Korea and Uruguay, matches Ghanaians are hoping the Black Stars would win.
Since Ghana played in the 2006, 2010, and 2014 World Cups in Germany, South Africa, and Brazil, respectively, it is making a record-breaking fourth World Cup appearance in Qatar.
Along with Vice President Bawumia and former President Mahama, who have also urged everyone to support the nation, TECNO Ghana is one of the well-known companies that has openly endorsed the Black Stars.
