For days now starting from the night of his concert, he has been on Nigerians and their lack of support.
He accused Nigerian acts and Nigerians in general for profiting off Ghanaian music and lifestyle but not supporting our artistes.
Twitter was heated and Nigerians did not hesitate to clap back and ask him who he thought he was because to them, he is irrelevant.
They told him not to compare himself to their big 3 (Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy) because they fill the 02 arena and Shatta fills his fathers compound.
Shatta Wale was of the opinion that Ghanaians also should support their own because no Ghanaian artist has headlined a show in Nigeria this Christmas but Nigerians have taken over our festivity musical lineup.
The issue of Ghanaian music not being popular in Nigeria was also spoken about and he said it was all due to the selfish nature of Nigerians and their artists.
He was also particular about how Ghanaian acts go to promote their albums in Nigeria but receive no love.
If you know Shatta, you will know he did not make these statements diplomatically but used insults and a very harsh approach as he always does.
Nigerians on the timeline did not spare him and it was straight back and forth as he gained popularity with some of them for the first time.
But it seems all these fuss was just for social media attention by the Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale after his Freedom Concert. The following tweets from Shatta Wale showed that the alleged beef setup was purposefully for social media attention.
