Positions Up For Recruitment At Golden Star:
1. Manager Security
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is to lead the Security department in preventing loss by ensuring that effective strategies are developed in the areas of preparedness, training, monitoring and intelligence gathering.
2. Head Of Mine Technical Services
Answering directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will be responsible for leading the Technical Services team to deliver best practice services and support in the areas of mine design, mine planning, survey, geotechnical, geology, mineral resource management, hydrology, and growth studies.
3. Manager – Supply Chain
You work directly under the CEO. This position is integral to the Wassa Leadership Team, playing a vital role in providing the highest level of supply and contract expertise and broader business governance, support and advice. Important requirements of the role are delivery of robust inventory management, cost reduction through effective sourcing strategies, contract management and compliance as well as overall management of the supply department including systems and procedures.
4. Manager – Technology & Operations Excellence
The primary responsibility of this role is to drive and deliver key business strategies and planning activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive in collaborating and identifying areas for improvement, sharing insights.
5. Senior Maintenance & Engineering SUPT. Technology & Operations Excellence
The purpose of this job is to lead the GSWL Maintenance department in the development of continuous improvement activities will assist in the improvement of plant production.
6. Senior Process Superintendent Technology & Operational Excellence
As a key member of the Process team and reporting into the Manager Process Plant, the person is accountable to define & implement the plant process strategy and measure & report on plant process performance, to maximise production and minimise costs while ensuring operational sustainability; The technical ‘process owner
