Ghanaian Hiplife artist, MzBel has finally cleared the air on her relationship with longtime friend and confidant, Nana Tornado.
Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, commonly known as Mzbel, said in a Facebook live session on Wednesday that her friendship with the controversial series actor and socialite was intact.
Recall that Mzbel after her terrible performance at Afrochella last December had a meltdown where she made cryptic statements against “certain unknown friends” and went ahead to unfollow all her friends including Tornado.
Mzbel who wore a leopard print morning coat and bonnet with sunglasses said her comments had been misinterpreted by the public.
“Tonardo and I are still friends. People are misinterpreting the comments I made earlier. I granted an interview on Step One 1 TV sometime in December, following a less-than-stellar show at Afrochella,” she answered fans during the live session.
The CEO of Mzbel Music, Bel Group, and Bel Eye Media used the speaking engagement to extol the virtues of Tornado on how he handled the situation and the rumor-mongering.
“I’m so proud of Nana Tonardo for not making a deal out of this. When two people become friends, there is always a plot to destroy them. I’ll advise friends to avoid showcasing their lovely relationships on social media due to judgmental eyes. These people are quick to mislead their friends. I still consider Tonardo to be a friend,” she said
