The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed five coaches to lead the national teams in its efforts to enhance youth football’s developmental structures.

They are Godwin Attram, Maxwell Konadu, Yaw Preko, Abdul Karim Zito, and Nurudeen Amadu.

Four of these coaches have been assigned to the newly formed male national teams, U-15, U-18, U-19, and U-21, aimed at nurturing young talents from grassroots to national stage.

Former Medeama SC Head Coach Yaw Preko will be the new coach of the national U-15 team, having successfully managed both local and international football.

With coaching experience, he has previously managed the Black Satellites and the national U-17 team.

Coach Yaw Preko, with extensive national team experience, has worked with notable teams such as Great Olympics, Accra Hearts of Oak, and Nigerian side Feanyi Ubah.

FC Samartex boss, Coach Nurudeen Amadu has also been appointed Head Coach of the national U-18 team.

Many fans have enjoyed his exceptional coaching style in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) over the years, making his addition to the list of coaches not surprising.

The 53-year-old, currently leading the GPL title race, has collaborated with the national U-17 team, Aduana Football Club, and King Faisal Babies FC.

Dreams FC Head Coach, Abdul Karim Zito, has been appointed to the Ghana national U-19 team to develop a strong squad.

The experienced U-20 Africa Cup of Nations winner has previously served as Head Coach for various clubs, including Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, King Faisal, and Kwaebibirem FC.

To his credit, Karim Zito won the U-20 WAFU Championship in 2020 and the AFCON title a year later.

The experienced gaffer is nearing a historic moment with Dreams FC in the CAF Confederations Cup, aiming to secure a spot in the finals.

Godwin Attram, former Black Stars striker, will lead the national U-21 team, while Maxwell Konadu, coach of Nsoatreman FC, will head the Black Meteors.
