A Cyber Security Analyst, David Gyedu has asked Ghanaians to check if organizations are regulated or registered under the Data Protection Commission, before they give out their data.
He said people should report to the Cyber Department of the Ghana Police Service or block the unsolicited messages received from their mobile networks.
Speaking on ‘GTV Breakfast Show’, Mr. Gyedu said the lack of a single data system allows organizations to access people’s data, and there is the need to safeguard data.
